Willing to book a photo session, you will face some common questions and difficulties to solve. Often time is crucial, so we cannot afford to spend it for correspondence and long negotiations. Therefore, I tried to collect often-asked questions and created this FAQ page. Be sure to read this to learn more about how I work and what you can expect from me as a photographer and videographer. Of course, there are some things, which require personal discussion, so do not hesitate to ask me any question!
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU?
My Psychology degree, my own marriage, and 6 years’ experience improved and deeply informed my role as photographer. I also was the “Most Positively Reviewed Charleston Photographer” on Google for 2017. You will never hear “Smile” from me because I am here to capture your sincere emotions and make you enjoy our photography session.
HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR STYLE?
I find the classic style incredibly attractive and timeless. But I also strive to actively improve in other styles of photography. What I really love – your real emotions! Combine them with my professional skills as a photographer and you get the photographs of your event which are not only beautiful, but also authentic.
WHAT PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL/BACKGROUND DO YOU HAVE?
I began my journey as a professional photographer in Europe, where I graduated from the university with a specialization in Psychology. After working there for a while, I gained an invaluable experience in the wedding photography on a cruise liner.
Psychology and work experience on a cruise liner helped to improve and deeply understand the essence of photography and work with clients. In 2017 I became the most positively reviewed photographer in Charleston, SC by Google.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE?
It depends on the size of your event and the number of people. Usually I offer 1-2 photographers and assistant.
THE BRIDAL PARTY AND THE GROOMSMEN WILL BE GETTING READY AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS? WILL YOU HAVE TIME TO SHOOT BOTH OF THEM?
Usuallydepending on distance it is enough time for me. If it is not, it is the case when I can always use the second shooter.
WE HAVE A DESTINATION EVENT - HOW DO YOU HANDLE TRAVEL?
Although my company is based in Charleston, I often provide photography in places like Hilton head, Columbia, Savannah and Myrtle Beach. I am also available for destination photography in other parts of the US.
There is also a travel fee for the road and coffee!
DO YOU NEED A SHOT LIST?
As a professional I always keep my shot list in the back of my head. However, I need to know from you the portraits and important groupings you want me to shoot, as well as all necessary and special details of your event.
HOW DO YOU TAKE GROUP SHOTS (FORMALS)?
I do these photographs very well as I always strive to know more about the location (and how we can use it in the best possible way!) and people I shoot. Degree in Psychology allows me to ensure you, that I will find an approach to such people as your business colleagues, your aunt and even a child.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The number of photos depends on the collection you choose. Anyway, I will shoot more photographs than necessary to find the best shots we have.
We strive to deliver photographs within a week.

WHAT TIME AND PLACE TO CHOOSE FOR MY PHOTO SESSION?
As a rule, because of the light the most beautiful and charming photos are taken on the sunrise or one hour before the sunset. Here are some my favourite locations I often suggest to my clients.
Plantations and Parks (Middleton Place, Drayton Hall, Boone Hall, Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, Hampton Park, Smythe park).
Beaches (Folly Beach, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, Morris Island).
Downtown (The Battery & White Point Gardens, Waterfront Park, College of Charleston campus, Washington square)/
HOW DO YOU PROCESS YOUR FILES?
I have a brilliant team of editors and retouchers in my studio that are dedicated to make your photographs look amazing. They do a lot of culling, editing and juxtaposing. We always strive to exceed all your expectations!
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE?
Cameras: canon 5d mark iv, canon 1dx mark 1.
Lenses: sigma 12-24 art, canon 24-70 f2.8 ii, canon 70-200 f2.8 ii.
Lighting: 2 canon speedlites 600ex-rt, canon st-e3-rt, magmod wedding kit.
I AM AFRAID TO POSE FOR A CAMERA
Are you challenging me? Well, I accept it. If you are afraid to pose for a camera it means only one thing - your potential (and yes, you have it!) has not yet been revealed. And I will be the one who will do it.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR THERE IS A BAD WEAHER?
There are two ways to solve this problem:
To find a place with a roof for out photo session
To book an extra day so if something occurs we can always use it.
By the way, rain, clouds are a great and priceless opportunity for the photography. We can use various objects (such as umbrellas) and capture some unusual moments (such as youtreading water).
WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO MY PHOTOGRAPHER?
There are no any ifs. I will be there.
However, if something tragic occurs there will be other studio photographer. I am also very connected in the photography world, so whatever happens I will solve this problem.
