First meeting, first casual glance and smile. The first date, the first trembling embrace and kiss. The desire to see each other again and again, to spend all their free time together, to get to know each other, That’s how the story of the wonderful Kathryn & Peter began. And now they have hand in hand decided to move on with their lives together. Our team of Charleston wedding photographers were happy to capture Kathryn & Peter’s wedding on February 26, 2022.
They held their ceremony at the Unitarian Church of Charleston, and the reception at the Francis Marion Hotel. The venue perfectly united the bride and groom’s two faiths: Catholic and Jewish. Under the high white vaults of the church, under the light of the brightly colored stained glass windows, they said “I do” to each other.
The main color scheme of the wedding is various shades of pink. Soft warm tones are traced in the bouquet of the bride, bow ties of friends of the groom, outfits of bridesmaids, decorations of the tables of guests.
A few details of wedding images. The charming bride appeared in a snow-white gown with lace straps. The dress flowed beautifully with every step. Her hair was decorated with beads and a long airy veil. The image turned out feminine and tender. The groom chose for the wedding a win-win classic: black suit, white shirt, black bowtie. Such a combination always looks stylish.
Kathryn and Peter met at their workplace at the Francis Marion Hotel. The pandemic brought the couple very close and it was under such difficult circumstances that they realized they wanted to be together. It is very symbolic that it was in this hotel where they met that they decided to spend this special day for them.
To know more about the warm feelings, we asked Kathryn, “What do you love most about him?”. She gave this answer without hiding her happy eyes: “I love his smile & the way he always makes me feel loved. He is my best friend in the world & I couldn’t imagine life without him”.
We asked the groom the same question: “What do you love most about her?”. He answered without hesitation, “I love her hair & the way she smiles. Her laugh is amazing, especially when she is in full planning mode”.
