August 7, 2021

Omnaya and Lance are a charming couple. We have known each other for 5 years and it’s a true honor for me to be a part of their wedding day. It was love at first sight like a romantic movie scene. After five years of relationship, they decided to get married and have the most beautiful wedding. They both live in Charleston and know the city well. So there was no problem with choosing the venue.

Their lovely wedding took place on August 7, 2021, in a masterpiece venue – The Exchange. This is one of the most beautiful places in Charleston for weddings with great natural opportunities for photography. This wedding was very romantic, accompanied by live music of harp and violin. But first things first. The main characters really thought out their Exchange wedding to the smallest details. Omnaya looked adorable in an off-white patterned wedding dress. A light veil adorned her wavy loose hair. And the groom was wearing an elegant three-piece suit. I already have a couple of favorite places for taking photos, because this is not my first wedding at the Exchange. The portraits turned out very well. The day wasn’t too sunny, and we took the photos on the covered terrace with lush greenery in the background. The photos with the bridesmaids and the groomsmen were especially contrasting.

Well, the portraits of the newlyweds turned out to be a masterpiece. Narrow alleys among bushes and trees are ideal for such pictures. First of all, nature adds its colors while providing necessary contrast. The marriage ceremony took place in the ceremonial hall, near a fireplace beautifully decorated with flowers. There was a lot of light in the hall. The natural light was going through the windows. The ceiling was decorated with lanterns and there were candles on the floor. All these created a perfect atmosphere for the shooting. The guests sat on chairs and watched the ceremony. As a Mount Pleasant wedding photographer, I would like to add that the whole wedding was very touching. And we managed to convey all these joyful emotions in the photos.

This wonderful Exchange wedding ended with the newlyweds leaving the venue shining in the Bengal lights. I was pleased to be the Mount Pleasant wedding photographer at this event and to experience so many positive emotions.
