April 10, 2021

“We are each other’s favorite adventure and can’t imagine experiencing life’s big moments without each other” – these were the words of Jade and Nick when we met for wedding discussion. It sounds really great, doesn’t it? The couple has been together for almost 4 years, and finally decided to do everything together. “Everything I want to do in this world, I want to do with her, and everything that she wants to do in this world I want to do with her” – says Nick.

Their Dunes West wedding took place on April 10, 2021. We also did a Bridal Portrait Session in this popular wedding place and it was a nice experience. The weather was exactly right for shooting, no clouds, no strong sun shining. We took photos from different angles, and the whole process was pleasantly exciting and emotional. As a professional Dunes West wedding photographer, I want to emphasize that sincere emotions are very important for photography. They let you capture images with the least amount of details. The bride was irresistible in her snow-white fitted dress with embroidery. Her blond, wavy hair was adorned with a long, flattering veil. A minimum of makeup and a maximum of naturalness. The groom wore a dark blue three-piece suit and a light pink tie. Wedding color palette was really vast. It included a whimsical Boho neutral color palette with mostly white, gold, green shades. The dusty rose color was used as an accent. We managed to show all these colors in the photos. These colors looked very impressive during the shooting by the stream, under the old oaks. Against a background of clear sky and water, the photos turned out very beautiful. They fully conveyed the desired color scheme.

This wonderful wedding was “decorated” with beautiful traditions. Nick and Jade had a unity ceremony during their wedding ceremony. They bound the cross on a specially made stand. There were a lot of guests with children at the wedding. The moment when the little boys were taken to the ceremony in a cart was especially interesting. This amused all the guests, and caused a surge of happy emotions. The newlyweds gave each other gifts before the wedding, it was very romantic. There was a moment of pure surprise in the photos.

Wedding venue was perfectly chosen – Dunes West Golf & River Club. This is one of the most beautiful golf clubs in Charleston, an amazing place with views of the creek, old oak trees and always a pleasant organization. As a Dunes West wedding photographer, I know this venue very well, so I’ve planned a little bit in advance for some pictures. There’s always beautiful natural light, no unwanted shadows. The wedding hall was beautifully decorated, there was a lot of white. This helped to convey the space in the photos. There were a lot of flowers at this wedding, and it seemed to me, a Mount Pleasant wedding photographer, that there could never be too many flowers. I wish Jade and Nick a lot of colorful moments on the family way.
