Capturing love stories in Charleston has led me to some truly remarkable places, and Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site stands out as one of the most captivating. With its deep historical roots and breathtaking scenery, it was the ideal setting for Kiara and Logan’s engagement session.
Kiara and Logan’s love story began in a place you might not expect — Kohl’s. It was early November when Logan arrived to pick up Kiara, who was working there at the time, for a date at the fair. From the moment they met, Kiara was struck by Logan’s handsome smile and the sense of comfort she felt around him, as if they were old friends reconnecting after years apart. That feeling of ease and familiarity has been a cornerstone of their relationship, carrying them through nearly five years together.
During our session, it was clear to see the deep connection they share. Kiara expressed that what she loves most about Logan is how she can be her complete self around him — no need to pretend or put on a facade because, in his eyes, she is already perfect. Logan echoed this sentiment, sharing that Kiara is his best friend. They can sit in complete silence, simply enjoying each other’s presence, and yet it feels like nothing is left unsaid.
