March 20, 2021
At Lauren and Jonathan’s wedding, I was in the role of destination wedding photographer, and namely it was North Carolina. This story began with the Secret Proposal. Jonathan invited me to film this happy and exciting moment. The pictures turned out wonderful, very emotional. A few days later, since Lauren said “Yes“, I was invited to be the photographer at their wedding. The couple has been together for five years, and they decided to tie their present and future together. I think it’s perfect when people have such grand plans for the future. Their engagement happened a couple of days before the quarantine and the wedding took place after the restrictions were lifted – a perfect coincidence.
The North Carolina wedding of this beautiful couple took place on March 20, 2021. The weather was just amazing, the saturation of natural light. Lighting is an important element of any photograph. During the wedding shoot I managed to convey all the naturalness of colors and shades. What about the wedding color palette – it was light pink/blush, white, and navy. White was plentiful, but the bride’s most important white was her lovely puffy white dress. Her brown wavy hair was gathered at the back of her head and adorned with a long light veil. Especially beautiful was the moment when the bride covered the groom by the veil, and he kissed her. A very tender moment, which I managed to capture. The groom and his friends had dark blue suits; the bridesmaids wore light pink dresses. These colors were very striking in terms of photography, and were very good in the photos. The wedding ceremony was accompanied by live music and sincere emotions of the guests. It was very touching.
The North Carolina wedding was in a very picturesque place, in Separk Mansion. A spacious hall with beautifully set tables and decorations was just perfect for such a colorful wedding. It is impossible not to mention the main dessert of any wedding – the wedding cake. It was a masterpiece of pastry art, covered in white cream and decorated with delicate pink roses. This wedding was not my first destination wedding, but it was one of the most memorable. As a North Carolina wedding photographer, I was happy to meet new people, present them with good photo memories and get new experiences.
