January 30, 2021
It was a fabulous winter wedding with indescribable warm emotions, sincere congratulations and dizzying dances. Imagine the situation where you went to dinner with friends and met your destiny. This is exactly what happened with our heroes, Kali and Nicholas. During our acquaintance, the newlyweds vied with each other to tell their story of love and acquaintance. And then I heard just a sincere and wonderful phrase “we knew we loved each other long before we ever said it”. They seemed to me to understand each other with a look and a gesture. Kali and Nicholas met in June 2018 at King Street Grille. The young people liked each other and exchanged phone numbers. After a year of dating, Nicholas proposed in a very creative way by putting a pouch with an engagement ring into her make-up bag.
Their wonderful wedding took place on January 30, 2021, in The Creek Club at I’On. They prepared so carefully and thought out all the details of the wedding. They even made funny inscriptions on socks and boxers. The bride’s outfit was simply breathtaking, a long champagne dress with a lace bodice and an amazing long veil. Curly loose hair was adorned with a stunning diadem, and to top it off a make-up in the style of “naturel”. An open look and a sincere smile – it was fabulously beautiful. The wedding bouquet was white and green. The groom was a true gentleman of his lady. The light gray three-piece suit, white shirt, tie and pocket flower were burgundy. Nicholas is quite tall, and Kali looks like a small fragile princess in his manly arms. Me, Mount Pleasant wedding photographer, managed to take brilliant moments of their warm hugs. The bridesmaids wore wonderful dresses in different shades of blue and the groom’s friends were dressed in light gray suits to match the groom.
Kali and Nicholas chose Charleston as the venue for their wedding day, namely The Creek Club at I’On. Although it was a winter day, the wedding ceremony took place in the open air under the mighty trees, and these two lovers joined their fates. Since the territory is very vast, all the guests sat on chairs on the green manicured lawn and contemplated the moment of creating a new family. Especially touching was the moment when dad was leading the bride to the groom and her long veil was fabulously stretched after her.
After the ceremony, all guests moved to the restaurant with wonderful decorations. The guests sat at round tables decorated with white tablecloths and fresh flowers. A large area for dancing and competitions allowed the guests to really have fun from the heart. The wedding cake was very original. White caramel cream, fresh flowers and a heart with the initials of Kali and Nicholas. Everything is thought out in detail! And this winter fabulous miracle called the wedding ended with the leaving of the newlyweds under the sparklers in the hands of the guests. Me, Creek Club at I’On wedding photographer, was honored to be a guest at this miracle and to capture beautiful moments for Kali and Nicholas.
