Bright colors, tears of happiness, laughter, and of course an adorable dog. It was all at the wedding of the wonderful Jacquelyn and Joseph. The venue was the Creek Club at I’On.
Under the tent, surrounded by people important and dear to them, accompanied by live music, Jacquelyn and Joseph became husband and wife on September 9, 2022. After the ceremony, everyone moved inside of the venue for a memorable evening.
The main color palette of the wedding was burnt orange, marigold yellows. Lilies, chrysanthemums, palm leaves, and candles created the atmosphere of a real holiday on an exotic island.
Plenty of greenery around served as the perfect backdrop for memorable photos of the couple. Nothing superfluous, only sensual embrace and tenderness in each frame of the newlyweds.
Pay attention to the couple’s wedding rings. A classic gold ring for him and an unusual ring with one large white stone and a few dark stones. It turned out exquisite!
The first time Jacquelyn and Joseph saw each other was at a bar on the dance floor. After that they didn’t see each other for a year until they happened to move into the same duplex and were roommates. It seems that fate itself brought them together. Jacqui thought Joe was super cute with his surfboard and then when he got a puppy (Maui) it sealed the deal.
Choosing a city for their wedding, the couple did not hesitate to choose Charleston. After all, it was the city where they met, started living together, left it, but returned 5 years later to start a new phase of their relationship.
We decided to ask Jacquelyn, “What do you love most about him?” She answered emphatically, “When he gets goofy and dances, how introspective he is and how loyal he is.”
I wondered what Joseph would say to a similar question. His answer was as follows: “Her ‘golden retriever attitude’ towards life.”
We, Charleston wedding photographers, want to wish you a love story that lasts a lifetime. Create powerful moments and memories together. Happiness to you!
