Have you ever seen one of nature’s most awe inspiring sights – a total solar eclipse with your own eyes? Our couple, Tammie and Michael, can definitely answer, “Yes”. And, of course, they remember every minute of this unrepeatable day, because it was their wedding and we made as much of the best shoots as we only could.
The wedding photography was unusual for several reasons. Firstly, as we have already mentioned above, it was the day of a solar eclipse, when people from all over the world began to converge on the United States. And secondly, we witnessed how a little sea turtle hatched and crawled to the ocean. Incredible, isn’t it? Who knows, maybe it was a lucky sign addressed to a new family Tammie and Michael created.
Our photo session took place on the beach in the early morning. And, you can see, what magic happens during the “golden hour”, the hour after dawn and before sunset! This is time when colors are deep and rich, high contrasts are minimized, and the combination of warm light and cooler shadows is particularly flattering for the skin tones.
After all, the beach wedding photography turned out to be gentle, sensitive, love-struck and full of emotions. Tammie and Michael successfully expressed their personality as a couple, and all we had to do was to capture this spark.
The Folly Beach wedding was great – Tammie and Michael even decided to buy a video from the event and now we are preparing an album for them. One of the best parts of my job is to communicate with customers and this couple is really incredible. As we always do we prepared a surprise for them – a little present. Besides the present Tammie and Michael were lucky to discover the most delicious ice-cream in the city!
