A warm day, rays of sunshine in the branches of big trees covered with Spanish moss. Love was in the air. Sharayah & Michael were looking forward to this special day. And finally it had come!
The wedding venue was the Creek Club at I’on. An amazing location with everything for the perfect celebration. Colors included muted pinks/purples, with navy blues and golds. First Look was incredible. We tried to convey these emotions in the iconic photos. The touching ceremony was held outdoors on October 13, 2022.
Let’s look at the image of the bride. She chose a luxurious white dress, a combination of lace and tulle, veil and light plume. Stylish bouquet consisted of flowers of warm colors. Bridesmaids in soft pink dresses looked very elegant.
The groom in a blue suit, complemented by a white tie and a delicate boutonniere with a pink rose on his jacket was looking forward to the bride at the ceremony.
The future couple’s meeting happened at a mutual friend’s party during their senior year of college. Sharayah and Michael became friends at once. The couple warmly recalls a trip to Madrid on Valentine’s Day. They wandered the streets of the beautiful European city and enjoyed each other’s company.
Shortly before their wedding, the couple moved to Charleston from Washington, DC. The new city impressed them with its mild rhythm, beautiful views and cozy atmosphere. Therefore, the decision to hold their wedding celebration in this city was unanimous.
“What do you love most about him?”. She answered the following: “I love how much he makes me laugh. No matter how bad a day either of us is having, he always knows how to bring a smile to my face.”
“What do you love most about her?”. His answer radiated true love: “I love how weird I can be around her – she makes me feel so safe to be fully myself. Beyond that, Shay is the most supportive and caring person I have ever met, and makes me feel more special than I have any right to.”
