A pleasant excitement, a slight impatience, a great happiness that you want to share with everyone. A trembling expectation that today will begin something perfectly new in life. With such wonderful emotions surrounded by loved ones, Madeline & Cory became husband and wife on February 25, 2022.
The venue for the wedding was the Historic Rice Mill Building. This building seems to hold many secrets. A stylish location for a traditional wedding with large, spacious halls. The ceremony was held inside the building. Brick vaults, large windows through which the sunlight shone. The atmosphere was authentic and romantic.
The Historic Rice Mill Building has beautiful access to the water, a picturesque dock with boats. So we took some memorable shots in the natural setting.
The color palette of the wedding was white, ivories, blush, and some burgundy. Beautiful, elegant details without being pretentious. The emphasis was on naturalness.
The bride chose a white dress with open shoulders and a puffed skirt for this special day. Elegant jewelry, a veil over loose hair and a sophisticated white and green bouquet. Note the stylish looks of the bridesmaids – silk dresses in luxurious powder color.
The groom appeared in a classic black suit, complemented by a black bowtie. A delicate boutonniere in the form of a rose was attached to his jacket. Friends of the groom appeared in similar images, only instead of a bowtie were black ties.
The couple met in 2017 in the company of mutual friends during a trip. They immediately liked each other, though they were in no hurry to go on a date. But soon the feelings and mutual attraction proved stronger. Cory proposed to the girl at her favorite winery. The couple chose the cozy Charleston as their wedding city. After all, that’s where the bride’s parents lived.
We wanted to know more about the couple’s feelings, so we asked the bride: “What do you love most about him?”. She gave this answer: “He is a great friend, he is caring, loyal, and calms me down when I need it”.
We asked the same question of the groom: “What do you love most about her?”. Without thinking, he said: “She is very passionate, humorous and my best friend”.
Our team of wedding photographers in Charleston would like to once again congratulate the wonderful couple Madeline & Cory. May love always live in your hearts and all your plans together become a reality.
