Ali and Andrew’s love story began in November at Vickery’s on Shem Creek, where they talked for hours, closing down two bars. Their connection was instant, and just three months into dating, they decided to buy and renovate a home together. Over the next 1.5 years, they worked side-by-side, turning their house into a home and building the foundation for their future. This home became an important part of their journey and even served as the backdrop for their engagement session, which was intimate, emotional, and incredibly touching.
For Ali and Andrew, Boone Hall Plantation was more than just a wedding venue — it was a dream come true. Long before their engagement, they both envisioned getting married there without ever discussing it. The reception was held in Boone Hall’s Cotton Dock, featuring pretty lighting and entertainment from the amazing band Charleston Groove Factory. Ali and Andrew’s personal touches, from hand-designed floral arrangements to DIY table settings, made the space feel intimate and welcoming. Guests enjoyed a night of dancing, heartfelt toasts, and delicious Southern cuisine as the couple celebrated their new chapter.
