For me as a professional wedding photographer in Charleston it was very interesting to work with this harmonious and beautiful couple. Jacqueline Diamond and Madison Buchanan tied the knot of marriage on a beautiful summer and sunny day, namely 21st of July, 2020. The bride has a very “shining” surname- Diamond, which very clearly characterizes her. She is an embodiment of beauty, grace, charisma and of course, she is a Real Diamond for her husband.
It was a destination wedding, because the couple chose Charleston to be their marriage place. The wedding atmosphere itself was very bright, because relatives and friends of Jacqueline and Madison are very interesting and kind people. The bride has very supportive parents and sister. Because it was a very exciting and at the same time solemn day in their family, and they supported the young couple with warm hugs and kisses. It was just amazing.
I have spent much time with the couple while photographing them near the most famous sights – Charleston City Market and Rainbow Row, as the newlyweds said, it was against this background that they wanted to hold a wedding photo shoot. Their relationship is saturated with sincerity and naturalness, which gave the photo session an unrealistically beautiful piquancy. The bride’s wedding off-the-shoulder style dress was very gentle and elegant and very expressively harmonized with the groom’s suit.
Jacqueline and Madison chose a very comfortable and beautiful place for their small wedding – Upstairs Midtown on King St. It is located near the historic center, in the open air, and is an ideal place for a sunset ceremony. Elegantly served tables, a large number of fresh flowers, soft interior colors create a special festive atmosphere. During the wedding ceremony, the guests sat on chairs, and since the venue is big enough, everything was clearly visible. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and guests enjoyed dancing outdoors to romantic music, drinking champagne, made congratulatory toasts in honor of the newlyweds. Particularly interesting was the moment when the bride threw her wedding bouquet.
It was a small wedding in Charleston, but with big and sincere feelings and emotions, wonderful people, cheerful smiles and a joyful general mood.
