Old Santee Canal Park, located north of Charleston in the town of Moncks Corner, has all its own southern plantation charm at State Park rates. This park is also a beautiful place to tie the knot and is really popular for your ideal wedding.
The picturesque South Carolina Park’s features are gorgeous venues that can be a perfect place for every guest as well as for newly-weds. Its historic Stony Landing House is an 1840 summer plantation home with spectacular views of the Tailrace Canal and surrounding lush landscape.
What can attach particular importance to the breathtaking location? Only two loving hearts have this power.
Brigid and Joey have been together for 2 and half years. And I’m really pleased to have been a participant, as a wedding photographer, of such a wonderful celebration. Even if it was rainy, I’m sure their hearts were full of sunlight, while in their eyes were sparkling stars.
When I asked Joey about his memorable story he told me a really interesting history. ‘I took her to see her favorite movie, Beauty and the Beast in live action, and afterwards asked her out with rose earrings and a pineapple hand sanitizer holder because she loves pineapples,’ – he said. Brigid’s dream was a magnificent wedding on a plantation or at a plantation house, that’s why their choice fell on Moncks Corner.
While watching these two people at the wedding I saw how perfectly they complement each other. This event was absolutely full of this specific atmosphere, where the groom and bride understand one another without words.
You can feel the spirit only just watching at the photos. Look at how they were dancing! It was definitely an admirable performance with laugh, love and happiness.
I hope that this event was just a starting point of bright and delighted life of two hearts. Thank you for emotions and real feelings!
