Red and black – this was the color scheme that Samantha and Matthew chose for their wedding. These colors represent not only Ohio State, but also its university and American soccer team. Two years ago our lovely couple realized they were meant for each other after playing cornhole game and chatting for a few hours. Now Samantha and Matthew are getting married and dreaming about kids and traveling.

Charleston Yacht Club wedding of Samantha and Matthew took place on July 24, 2021. The Club is located near Charleston City Marina and is famous for its beautiful boardwalks with yachts and boats. On the water-green background we managed to take brilliant pictures, which reflected live colors and naturalness of movements. The bride’s dazzling white fitted dress with a long train fluttered in the light breeze. Holding hands and looking at each other, Samantha and Matthew leisurely strolled down the small pier. Nature here has given us wonderful places for photos and perfect sunset lighting.

The wedding ceremony was very touching because Samantha’s grandfather said a prayer. The guests watched the ceremony with tenderness and were genuinely happy for the young couple. Along with the emotions, it is worth noting the color accents. The bridesmaids were dressed in black fishnet dresses and had scarlet bunches of roses in their hands. The groom and his friends wore dark elegant suits and red ties. Little red rosebuds elaborately adorned the breast pockets of their suits. This combination of red and black together with the snowy white bride’s dress looked stylish in the photos. There was no mottling, and in my opinion, as a Charleston Yacht Club wedding photographer, the color match was perfect.

After the ceremony and photo session in the fresh air, all the guests and the newlyweds went to a cozy and beautiful hall. First of all, there were a lot of sophisticated decorations, especially the wreath of greenery behind the young couple with the letter “W” in the middle. The first dance was gentle to the smoothly flowing music and the light of the numerous lanterns that shone from the ceiling. This warm lighting literally eliminated unnecessary shadows and allowed us to take bright photos.

Charleston Yacht Club wedding was a great success. It was a tremendous honor for me to attend this event and capture priceless moments for Samantha and Matthew.
