Mills House Wedding in Charleston // Sara & Jeff

Here I am today to tell you about another wedding. That time I was working as a wedding photographer at the Mills House in Charleston, South Carolina.charleston photographerGroom getting help with his vest beside a wooden wallGroom laughing with an older man in a vestGroomsmen in vests lined up by the arched courtyard entrance

This place is definitely a historical treasure. Combining the rich heritage of Charleston and breathtaking views this place makes perfect conditions for gorgeous photo sessions!Bridesmaids in burgundy with the bride and guests by a flower tableBride walking on the sidewalk and the groom reflected in a round mirrorGroom seeing the bride for the first time on a downtown streetGroom hugging the bride from behind on the street

The chemistry between the bride and the groom was so unique and soft that I couldn’t help but smiled for the whole time I had been working with them. Sara and Jeff is one of these match made in heaven couple. Working with them was a real pleasure!Bride approaching the groom and embracing on a downtown sidewalk Groom kissing the bride’s cheek on a city streetCouple with a young boy and beside an iron gateGroom on the ornate iron balcony of the pink Mills House facade

Let me tell now a little bit more about Sara and Jeff and their great adventure through life.Bride crouching to talk with a flower girlOlder man hugging the bride as bridesmaids in pink smileBride walking down the aisle in the courtyard as guests stand

Their first meeting was very interesting and romantic from my point of view. They heard each other’s voice before a real meeting. The small twist of fate made a big difference. So here we were standing with a gorgeous couple at their wedding after Sara and Jeff’s 5 years of going out.Bride smiling at the groom during the courtyard ceremonyCouple kissing at the ceremony beside the brick wall

The things that Sara loves the most about Jeff are that he always makes her smile and laugh and his big kind heart.Groom and groomsmen in suspenders on the sidewalk

The thing that Jeff loves the most about Sara is her personality. “Her quirky sense of humor, the way that she loves me and my dogs and most importantly her ability to make me the happiest person in the world all day every day without even trying to do so.”

The whole wedding was amazing! The combination of stunning landscape of Mills House and fantastic bride’s and groom’s looks was like a fairy tale’s episode.Bride posing with family members indoorsNewlyweds entering the reception as guests cheerCouple cutting a white wedding cake with red flowers

I hope that Sara and Jeff will be happy while looking through their wedding photographs in future.Bride dancing with an older man in the ballroomGroom dancing with a woman in blueCouple’s first dance in the ballroom with guests around themGuest dancing with a young boy on the dance floor

I am really happy to have had such an opportunity of working with these amazing people. Let love be the focal point of your daily life. May you find hope, peace and faith in each other’s arms.Guests cheering on the crowded dance floor
