January 1, 2021

New Year is one of my favorite holidays, probably like most people. But the first day of 2021 was special because I photographed a wonderful winter wedding of two wonderful people – Sydney and Anthony. Great start to the year! Sydney and Anthony are very open and complement each other perfectly. The phrase “they understand each other at a glance” is just about them.

Their New Year’s and Winter’s fairytale wedding took place, as I said above, on January 1, 2021. A touching ceremony in the Sunrise Presbyterian Church with excellent musical accompaniment. Sidney and Anthony stood at the altar and holding hands swore oaths to each other and it was the moment of birth of a new and strong family. It was an explosion of emotions and tears of happiness in all the guests’ eyes. Since it was very light inside the church, the newlyweds and me, Mount Pleasant wedding photographer, were able to capture wonderful moments.

The bride was dressed in a white fitted dress, slightly flared at the bottom. The top of the dress was open, but with wide straps pulled down. A beautiful belt of white and red stones curled around the waist and it was very impressive. Sydney did not wear a veil or tiara. Loose wavy luxurious hair beautifully adorned the image of the bride. The makeup was just beyond competition. The groom was just handsome in his dark blue three-piece suit. The snow-white shirt and red bow tie wonderfully impressed with the bride’s white dress and belt. In the breast pocket of his jacket was a red rose, a symbol of love. The bridesmaids were dressed in deep red dresses, and the groom’s friends in dark blue suits.

After the church ceremony, the wedding celebration took place at a wonderful venue, Goldbug Island. Since the main colors of the wedding were white, red and green, the whole decoration of the hall was in this color scheme. Round tables were decorated with white tablecloths and fresh flowers. The place for dancing and wedding competitions was very spacious. Great courage reigned at this wedding. A very touching moment was when the young people were cutting the wedding cake. The main wedding sweet was in three tiers, decorated with red flowers and greenery and covered with white cream. And this wonderful culinary masterpiece was put on a gold tray. After feeding each other a sweet cake, Sydney and Anthony sealed it all with a sweet kiss. Me, Goldbug Island wedding photographer, caught these “sweet moments” for them.
