Lowcountry wedding photography at Dunes West
What can be more astonishing than an amazing golf resort where avenue of oaks is covered with Spanish moss, and this beauty is complemented by a breathtaking water view? The answer is simple – wedding at this marvelous place! This time I was a wedding photographer in Charleston of Chris and Stephanie at Dunes West Golf Club, one of the most beautiful Charleston wedding venue.
Grooms party were playing golf before wedding, whereas the bride was getting ready for one of the most important steps in life. The bride picked very soft mauve color for bridesmaids’ dresses and as an accent in flower arrangements which was provide by Charleston famous Creech’s Florist. Stephanie’s elegant dress from Gown Boutique suited her fantastically. It’s always touching, when a bride and groom prepare wedding favours for their friends. Chris prepared flasks with his friends’ portraits which was made by ToonedUp Gifts. I have to admitted Chris’ bow tie “St. Pierre” from my absolutely favorite Brackish.
I’m so happy that Stephanie and Chris planned to do First Look – they will remember this moment forever! “I love the way she connects with me. We are able to talk and laugh about everything. We truly have an unbreakable bond unlike any other.” – that’s what the groom says about Stephanie. Truly, the energy of this “unbreakable bond” between the bride and groom soared in the air. The bride herself said: “I love his sense of humor and it was what first attracted me to him. He can always make me laugh. He understands me and we have very similar interests and personalities.”
The couple planned the ceremony around sunset. That was the best time for pictures, with nice soft colors and charming view. The bride and groom chose the perfect place for the ceremony – next to a big old oak and relaxing water view. Talented vendors made the ceremony outstanding. “Palmetto Strings” played elegant live music. Richard Burton was official and he made the ceremony very personalized and unique. Everything was well organized and it was a pleasure to work because Lee from Direct my Day did such a great job.
Chris and Stephanie have been together for 3 years and a half, and they already have great plans for their future life. We wish the couple only the best!
It was my last wedding before COVID19 crisis. I’m so happy that Stephanie and Chris were able to have a gorgeous lowcountry wedding as the result of their hard work and dreams. Unfortunately, many of other couples have to postpone or cancel their weddings, but I’m sure that in the nearest future everything will be fine again.
